On Wednesday 20th September the year 6 classes travelled back in time to the Victorian era. The day began with prayers and a rendition of the national anthem. Children were reminded that they should refrain from asking questions, teachers should be called Miss or Sir and they should stand each time an adult enters the classroom.
Throughout the day the children had lessons in scripture, recitation, handwriting, needlework, observational drawing and sporting drills.
Well done all for joining in wholeheartedly with this immersive experience. What a fantastic way to start our Victorian learning!
