Y5 Make Fish ‘n’ Chips

After catching our very own mackerel (and even some pollock) on our fishing trip aboard the Dolly P earlier this week, we had to put the fish to good use. What could be better than than fish and chips? With safety and hygiene in mind, pupils wrapped their fish in breadcrumbs, seasoned the wedges in herbs and spices and waited patiently for them to cook. The end result was a delicious bag of fish and chips, which pupils were immediately desperate to eat!  A big thank you to the DT department at St Ives Secondary School for such a brilliant experience.
