Wow, what an incredible, fun-filled day on the water. Braving the high temperatures, and armed with sunhats, sun cream and water bottles, we were ready for the adventures that lay before us. Before beginning our fishing session, we were given a crash course on how to use the rods and by the end we were all experts. Thanks to Sam and Lewis Narbett and the crew of the Dolly P, for such an amazing experience. Despite not catching many fish, (now we know what life as a real fisherman is like) we all agreed that it was one of the highlights of Year 5 so far! On our return to school, we had a very messy yet necessary job to complete. Gutting the fish! We can’t wait to make our fish and chips at the secondary school.
